Yes it was a long time ago that I joined this site. I was very active at the beginning and did a lot. I was posting I think 30 or so posts a day. Being under 10 posts a day is a low number to me. smile.gif

Thanks Diane it has been a hard trip so far and I am down close to 20 lbs in three months so I am improving. My main way of achieving this was first cutting out carbs big time. I eat a lot less bread, dough, and pasta. I eat more negative calorie foods in the day. For example breakfast is usually a banana followed by a mid morning snack of a sliced up cucumber. Lunch is usually a few carrot chips and a orange. Then for dinner I usually have a sensible meal and sometimes a snack after wards I track all my calories via my smart phone with a app called lose it. I record my walking during the day and all the foods I ingest to help me stay below 2,300 calories a day.

Wow! I'm impressed KNtoran... Now that's what I call real will power!
I need to lose weight, but I know I definitely don't have that kind of will power, so I'm making a few steady changes, it's coming off slowly ( very slowly), but I figure any loss is better than a gain.
I admire you, and have always enjoyed reading your posts, they're always educated answers, so glad you are back wink.gif

Yeah I am trying to lose no more than 2-3 pounds a week so that my body has a chance to shrink with the weight loss. I do not want to end up with a bunch of loose skin just hanging off me.
