Cancer is not a nice thing, my father had it. I can well imagine that he really wants to leave the hospital by now but being cautious is important. You may find this helpful: Sodium Bicarbonate - Baking Soda For Health as it has been known to help some cancer patients.

Thanks for all the well wishes. I am hoping that Monday we can get some more answers. I think the hardest part on him is the waiting. HE wants to get home and so far the doctors are not allowing him to go home. He has been in the hospital now for a total of 8 days.

Sorry being late on this, mate. I'm struggling to keep my activity up for personal reasons. Very sorry to hear the news. My wish to you might sound strange, but I wish the problem can come to a solution quickly, in a way or the other, because, for personal experience, the worst thing about cancer is when the illness goes on for years: you see some little progress only to step back again and this pattern repeats over and over. The result is stress and suffering for all the people emotionally involved.We witnessed something like that with my father, until he lost his battle in 1994 and, more recently, with my wife's sister one year ago.
I feel for you.
