Theaton will take his off even if a bit painful. And toss it away. He is not too worried about the Fey they do seem to have their fun. We will check these ruins and mark them on the map before heading out to make sure there is not hidden areas that we over looked.

Zork curses his situation but says nothing so as to not make those child ghosts think he is amused or affected. He does promise himself some kind of amulet against them. After refreshing himself and removing all the extra nonsense he joins Theaton in looking over the place.

Removing the tarry slime does sting a little, and the itchiness of the reeds remains for a short time.
Searching in the light of the morning does produce results! The goblin kept a stash beneath the rubble pile, under a plank covering a stone hollow! Within you find a chunk of iolite, a deep green spinel and a shard of blue quartz as well as 210 gold pieces minted in various different nations from ages past.
Zork's untrained eye believes this place had a tower, probably only 2 storeys high from the amount of stone left here. It could have been a cottage, an old watchtower or anything really. Whatever it was, it's been here for a while.
Out of Character: Since you don't have a rank in Knowledge (Engineering), the maximum result is a 10. Even though it's a class skill, you still have to put ranks into it to train it. If you did have it, I would've only given a more accurate estimate of its age.
Zork looks at Theaton and the others trying to read how they want to split the treasure. Then he says, "We split it?"
After that a suggestion to keep moving is muttered by Zork.
North along the river is as good a direction as any, so you take a winding path departing and returning to the river. On this warm day, flies begin to buzz around the severed boar head, attracted to the rotting flesh.
Sleep becomes difficult with the constant buzzing, but everyone manages to find rest. At least it helps whoever's on watch stay awake.
Starday 20 Pharast
Zork awakes to the unbearable noise of buzzing. It is still dark before dawn, but he makes out a vague shape moving on top of his bedroll!
"You hold the gems for now" Zork says to Theaton while pocketing the gold.
Without making anyone aware Zork immediately reaches to grab what he is sure is one of the ghost kids.
Zork grabs something squishy, and it immediately begins changing shape, dissolving. The sound of the buzzing becomes unbearable, enough to wake Theaton.
Jhod is startled from his watch, and brings over a lit log from the fire. The light illuminates the cloud of flies and other bugs, all flying and crawling away from the boar head, placed deliberately on the bed. Zork wipes the dead flies and bits of meat off his hands as distant laughter can be heard above the noise of the flies.
