In the distance, the group can see a flickering light, and the sound of speech is becoming more clear now. The corridor still continues, but on their right, the group can also see some sort of small opening carved into the stone, that used to be covered with a stone slab that is now destroyed, to reveal an even smaller path to the right.

Charles lowers his torch and he continues to move along slowly while not making too much noise. At the same time he tries to hear where the sound of speech is coming from.

The sound is indeed coming from the same direction as the flickering light. No sound is coming from the opening to the right.

Basmet complies and leaves her torch behind. "If you still need a light source at the front," She whispers, "I can conjure a cold flame as bright as a torch. But you can conceal it under your armour or clothes as we get close."

If Feyra says she wants it, Basmet casts Light on a pebble.

Move silently: 7+3 = 10

At the opening, Basmet suggests continuing towards the light and springing an ambush

When Charles noticed that the sound is coming from the same path, he whispers to the others "The sound is coming from over there which is straight down, we should be careful in case of danger".

Feyra has a very worried look on her face as she looks right at that path. However, she follows and agrees with them without saying a word, continuing walking forward.

She turns to Basmet as she whispers to her "For now, the less light the better."

Feyra is sceptical as she is lost in thoughts mubling while she continues walking forward "Something is not right." As she tells to the group with a low voice "Don't lost them, I'm going check over there." She says as she squeeze the get through Basmet and goes to up the right path saying to the others trying to not make a lot of noise.

"I am going to catch you later, just don't lose them. If they are hostile, or they have a dwarf with them, don't hesitate to kill them. Get informations if you can but don't leave him alive for very long. I wish you best of luck."

Not far from the opening in which Feyra ventures solo, Basmet and Charles finally reach the source of the flickering light. The floor no longer descends, and straight ahead, the two can see a corridor leading to a Subterranean Chamber, which is carved into the bedrock, now deep below the surface of the earth and under the pyramid itself!

Thanks to them being careful not to produce noise, it seems the people that are talking, sitting around a small campfire, did not notice them yet.

The distance between the duo and the two talking men is about 25 feet. Being wise and observant, Basmet notices that the two men must be accompanied, since there are two large, and one small tent set here. The men are dressed in dessert clothing, and each holds a khopesh, which they use as a tool to cut fruit, by holding it at the lower portion of the blade, and pushing on the non-sharp edge with their palm. The following can be heard:

"Do you really think he will let us live? We were fools to believe his lies, we'd best get out of here before it's too late!"

During this time frame, Feyra has only managed to squeeze through the narrow opening to the right, and can now see a roughly cut passage that is almost vertical to the ground, leading up. It is about 28" square throughout its course and in places there are rough footholes for someone to climb it.

Feyra holding the torch backward and sideways or bite it, holding in her mouth if possible while she tries to slowly and carefully climb up the passage.

If it isn't dark enough and she can see, then she puts out the fire of the torch with a cloth, hitting in on the ground.

"Vizet! Why is there something like this in here anyway?" She whines as she keeps climbing the passage.

Climb Check: 19+0= 19
