"So what am I to do next? How will we get to the Barren Lands?" He asked.

He knew full well what he was going to do next, and that was talk with Elaine. But before he could do that, he wanted to know their travel details. Bast was anxious about leaving, he hadn't been on the road in years, and he had made such a connection with the forest that he didn't want to leave it. It was a part of him in so many ways. How was he to connect with a foreign land?

Just then Alistar flew into the tent. Bast couldn't help but smile when he saw his companion swoop down to land on his shoulder. He could always tell when Bast was upset or nervous, and it was always a comfort to have him close at hand. Without thinking, Bast put up a hand to stroke Alistar's feathers and listened to Alec.

Elric finds his way to the palace in his disguise, believing he can wander around unnoticed, but a guard in front of the grand palace greets him by name:

"My lord, Elric. Is that you?"

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Alec wraps things up: "Go get yourselves ready, I'll go inform Elaine for you... Meet us here before noon."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

"Excellent, dearest Bastis. Request that you see the king, by order of me, and tell him I've sent you to grant divine favor to his plans. Our participation in this operation is crucial. Discover exactly what his advisors are up to, and report to me. We will see what we'll do from there... May the Seven Gods guide your path!"

Bast is already in the palace, in the "Holy Quarters". Getting to the king is easy. In the palace, Bast may sleep, rest, eat, study, pray or even just walk around freely.

"May the gods thank you too," Answers Ashipu and heads out with a bow.

He meanders around the palace, looking at the gardens, contrasting against the desert on the horizon. He watches the other nobles, noting how they are going about their lives, whether stressed or not. He decides to have some dried fruits and beer before finally working up the courage to face the king.

He approaches the door and asks an attendant, "Is the king is busy with an audience? I am to channel divine favor in his current plans."

Rather off topic, but...
I take it you meant Ashipu third, not Bast. I was so used my previous character I almost continued the error.

Also, this week is extremely busy for me, not sure how often I'll post.

Elric lowers his hood dimantling his idiotic disguice for the guard as he puts up a smile upon his face.

"As expected."*Cough* "I am indeed, Elric Hohenm. I was summoned here by his majesty's Nebuchadnezzar II court of advisors. The fact that you know who I am makes it easier."

He has realised, that from this step and on his life won't be the same. However, it's not something that he could make a choice on his own. This is goodbye to his easy-going peacefull life.

As the attendant opens his mouth, about to answer Ashipu, a servant approaches, reporting that a certain someone, by the name Elric Hohenm the Wizard is at the palace gates, requesting audience as well.

The attendant seems overwhelmed, as he orders the servant to never interrupt him again. He turns to Ashipu:

"Your Holiness, I am certain that the king would rather rest, so early in the day, but I will nonetheless ensure he gets notified of your request. If you would wait here for a few minutes, that would be most kind of you!"

"As for you,"
the attendant says to the servant "You'd better remember what I told you, next time! Now go and bring the gentleman to me. Go!"

Sorry for the name confusion. Happens to me all the time!

~~~~~~~~~~~~
The servant returns to the guard post where Erlic is waiting, and then escorts him to the waiting room. In this corridor, there's a simple wooden double door, with a royal guard standing in front. (The attendant has left the room at the moment, and will be back with the king's answer.)
In this room, Elric finds Ashipu, also waiting.
Here is Ashipu's given description:
The dark robed figure stands at a humble 5'5", but what is most striking is his albino white skin and ruby red eyes. Tatoos and paints contrast sharply in tribal patterns and ancient lettering. Despite his less than imposing stature, he projects an aura of confidence and hidden strength.
I cannot find Elric's appearance. Maybe I didn't look around too thoroughly, but would you mind including that in your next post, Zereki? Thanks!
Bast still isn't quite sure what to think, or why Alec seems determined he shouldn't go talk to Elaine himself. They were already planning on having lunch together today. But he has trusted Alec with his life on more than one occasion, so he decides to do the same thing now.
He returns to his own tent and gathers his meager belongings. Most of them are quite mundane asside from the one thing he cherishes more than Alistar, his spiked chain. He admires the cool blade metal with the intricate flame carvings on the blades.
He could still remember the first time Elaine had taught him to wield it. It had been her brothers, and it was a tradition in their family to use such weapons. Elaine was from a far off land were such things were far more common for those of martial skill.
It was a wondrous device that seemed far more in tune with him and the nature around him he had always thought. It moved so much more fluidly than a spear or sword could. It had always felt more right to him to use.
Stowing his chain as well, he looked around the meager tent that had been his home these last few years. Satisfied he hadn't left anything behind, he left to return to Alec's tent and to get this journey started.
Elric stares at Ashipu for a while with a very persistence glare as he enters the room. After half a minute or so, he walks away from him to create some distance as he waves his cloaks slowly to talk to his partner Larae, whispering.
"Larae, it's me. It seems that I was not the only one summoned here. There are others here too. C-Could it be that he is an agent of Millefiore? Even so, we must be on our guards. From now on we shouldn't underestimate anyone! At least until we know them better. Ok then, wish me good luck Larae."
With that said, he raises his shoulder to seem as formal as possible as he approaches Ashipu slowly walking. Anyone can realise him trembling as he tries to force himself to walk normally towards him. Nervously, he offers his hand to Ashipu for a handshake while nervously trembling.
"G-Good evening, stranger. M-My name is Elric H-Hohenm, w-were you summoned here by his majesty's N-Nebuchadnezzar II court of advisors too?" He says as he is making an obvious forced smile and his sweat can be seen drooping from his face.
Here is Elric's appearance description :
A young man which stands at 5'2", with light brown skin and brown eyes, wearing a black/grey robe along with a dark/yellon cloak on the outside. At his belt can only be seen a dagger along with two wands and a pouch. His clothes doesn't seem to be at a good quality as they also seem extremely dusty. He also wears bandages rolled on his both hands like a bracers in addition to some of his fingers.
After Bast returned to the tent, he had to wait for a few minutes, but eventually Alec and Elaine arrived.
"Dearest Bastis!" said Elaine, approaching Bast to hug him. "I'm so glad that you're finally shown the respect you deserve. Are you feeling ready? I had promised master Alec that I wouldn't let you alone. You may be strong, but the world out there is full of dangers, and you need someone to look after you and Alistar."
