Based on the novel written by Stephen Chbosky, this is about 15-year-old Charlie (Logan Lerman), an endearing and naive outsider, coping with first love (Emma Watson), the suicide of his best friend, and his own mental illness while struggling to find a group of people with whom he belongs. The introvert freshman is taken under the wings of two seniors, Sam and Patrick, who welcome him to the real world.

This movie is amazing! Of course it had Emma Watson in it which is always a plus for me but overall everything was so true to life I felt like I was in it and could relate. This movie deserves all the awards out there and should be kept as a classic! I'm getting it on DVD for sure!

The Perks of Being a Wallflower is a very good film, filled with different themes you have to figure out throughout the movie. Logan Lerman's acting skills playing the character of Charlie is unbelievably good.

The innocence, sweetness, mental illness, awkward behavior of Charlie is played by Lerman as a true professional. As a matter of fact, he is the one that carries the whole movie on his shoulders and tries to compensate for what the movie might be lacking.

Emma Watson was as usual predictable and mediocre on her performance and Ezra Miller did quite a good job.

It is a heartfelt movie where from the start you know what is going on but still lets you inside Charlie's head and see things from his perspective. In his case, his friends are his life saviors, and I mean that literally.

In real life, and in most cases people like Charlie do not have any friends and they are dealing with a lot of issues on their own. Sometimes, as Charlie, they are able to get help and see a little ray of hope. Often times, the ending is quite different.

I so loved this movie that I watched twice back to back, yeah I liked it that much. It will be so cool if they had a sequel to it if they had the same actors and an even better story to follow up.
