It is great that advice about being alert and aware of your surroundings as this is the best way to avoid confrontation. I noted that they did not mention how the original offend issue may have been avoided.

Best way to avoid a beating keep your big mouth shut and anger in control. Try not to be offensive and if you do offend some one try to gauge how vengeful or insane they are so as to know if a sneak attack could be an issue.

I question if any average person would have to control not to shoot both parties once the gun was drawn. Also I doubt most people would hit their targets in a time of such panic thus hitting an innocent bystander. I am not real convinced a concealed weapon is a great choice.

I call it be street wise know who is around you and read their body language it is hard to hide true malice or fear.
