Getting High On Legal Drugs (Hover)
Using illegal or even legal drugs to get high is wrong. We need to educate our children that drugs are wrong. One should not take drugs at all if they can help it. Sometimes drugs are a must. I am one that believes that there is too many pills being distributed for no real good reason nowadays.
This story is focusing on teens misusing prescription drugs, but there are also many adults who misuse them. Using legal drugs in the wrong way is illegal. These prescription drugs can be as dangerous and addicting as illegal drugs. The best way to keep your kids from getting high on any drug is to keep your medications out of their reach. Also, set a good example. Don't take your pills for fun or joke about how the medicine makes you feel funny. Teach your kids about the dangers and seriousness of prescription drugs.
