HealthDay Wheel the Awake Stay Tip Health

I have witnessed many people I thought who were drunk to be just tired drivers. It is very easy to find your self sleep driving if you are tired. When I worked the overnight shift there were many times I found myself driving half asleep. I am glad I am no longer on that shift. I think my mistake was thinking caffeine would help me. All that did was make me more tired. I hope that those who find themselves getting tired while driving pull over for a few minutes get out and stretch your legs. It could possibly save your life or the life of another.

One of the first things my dad told me when I started driving was if you even suspect you are getting tired pull over and either nap or get out and walk a bit.

If you are tired eating fruit will get you up if you are close to home. orange followed by apple works great and a few carrots.

Science has proven that a apple will wake a person up quicker and better than two cups of coffee. I try to always travel with an apple anymore. If I find myself getting tired I pull over and take a little walk while eating my apple.
