Targul will seek out the other members of the Silver Blaze and bring to their attention the large locked coffin. If it were up to him, he'd just try to break the lock. But since there were smarter members of the team around, He'll defer to their judgment.
Cahleth will follow Targul to this "Locked coffin," as such a thing is quite curious indeed. "Stand aside, let me see if I can.... "
With that, he pulls out his Thieve's Tools and tries to pick the lock. Cahleth admits he's just a novice with the lock pick, but it can't hurt to try.
Onwen returns to the rest of the group after completing his ritual to interpret the journal and he explains to them what the journal contains. He would use his ink and parchment to write down the journal's contents (Or at least the major points) in common to allow the others to read it.

Miller's casket (As in the small chest rather than a coffin), pops open after a little fiddling from Cahleth. Inside is a fair collection of coins, mostly gold, and a small pouch. The pouch contains a single finely cut sapphire. There is also a dagger and matching sheath with ornate silver inlay, it looks elvish in make.
Poljen listens Onwen's report about the dead mage's journal and Cahleth and Targul's report about the chest. He frowns upon hearing the word, 'harvest.' Once the report is done, he says, "While I certainly like gold, maybe some of that should be returned to the women who survived. That's my vote, at any rate. But we should read this to Sir Onthar. This might mean that other roads to Greenest have similar groups trying to seal off the town. And this camp in the mountains is where we will no doubt have to go to end this. But where in the mountains?" He frowns as he looks towards the mountains as the sun is setting, then shrugs. "After we get the caravan to town, maybe we should check another road in, and see if we can find someone who will guide us to the mountain camp."
"Damn!" Sar'ai mumbled as the lock mechanism was proving to be more of a challenge then she first had estimated. "Perhaps this can wait, besides that alter is quite intriguing… "
Sar'ai calls out to the cleric of Lathander from inside Linn's tent, "Geoffroy, I've found something that may be of some interest to you! Oh, but before you enter, speak the word 'Cobalt' before entering!" The wizard half wanted to know the effects of what exactly the protection enchantment did, but decided that experimenting on one of her companions would not be seen favorably amongst the others. "If only that boot-scum guard was still alive… Oh well, I suppose it is not that important."
She muttered to herself as she began to consider her next move with the chest. "Targul? Poljen, perhaps?" The half-drow thought to herself, "But what if there's something in here I wish for them not to know about? It was difficult enough convincing the group last time to allow Onwen to keep anything of the necromancer's… "
Poljen adds, "And we should ask those women if they know which is the one the made considered, 'suitable.' Maybe they will even know why they were suitable." Poljen will first ask if the journal entries are dated, and then try asking the women if they know which women were captured on that day.
Targul looks a little disappointed that the casket didn't contain anything more interesting. "You think if it were a casket it should contain a body, or something." He mutters as Cahleth sifts through the contents.
After a closer inspection, Targul will help Cahleth carry the casket out onto one of the wagons. Better to have it along than to leave it in the tent.
Once that's accomplished, since nothing else interesting seems to be going on, Targul will wait in the wagon sitting next to Cratol. While there, he will attempt small talk with Cratol as he's trying to meditate. Nothing too deep, just along the lines of, "What are you doing? Are you napping? It seems like an odd place to take a nap. You're not even lying down… "
