Servant of Dreams says...

Keitha will look to the monster before her, holding her staff of the woodlands defensively before attacking with it. Using it as a quarterstaff, she will make a swing at the creature's head and hoping to take it down before it could cause her harm.

Out of Character: Made rolls in the other thread.

Photokles provides Tellias some much needed healing and then attempts to drive he spear through the creature near him but it is turned away by the creature's armor. Elymas moves around the largest creature while its attention is on Brathark and target the enemy magic user with three darts of power. As they slam into him he loses his concentration and the magical spear he wielded disappears.

One of the creatures (C23), moves around Photokles and attempts to hit him. But a flare of light bursts in his eyes and he misses. Nearly simultaneously, Manos hits the magic user with his staff, nearly knocking the creature unconscious, but it manages to remain conscious. Manos can see the creature is critically wounded.

One of the creatures moves around Tellias to give her companion an opportunity to flank him. She then attacks but her axe simply skids off of his shield. Her companion then attacks Photokles as well from the flank and hits him a nasty shot. Luckily the blade of its axe turned and most of the damage done was from the concussion.

The two creatures around Manos (C9 and C20) move in unison to flank him. They work deftly with their axes and one manages to get through his mage inspired armor.

The Athenians are no longer the center of attention and now they get two good blows in. Each taking down a foe.

The creature near Keitha manages to recover from its initial poor showing but still can't land a hit on Keitha. In her counterstrike, Keitha lands a solid blow, bringing the creature to its knees. Then its eyes roll back in its head and falls to the ground.

Tellias feels creatures trying to encircle him but he strikes out hard, his spear and shield moving in a whirl of action. He skewers the female creature with his doyu and he uses his hoplon to catch the other, knocking it off balance. He then extricates his doyu and in an amazing move he uses the spiked end of his doyu to impale the other creature, killing it instantly.

The large creature gives it's full attention to Brathark. He uses his axe to slam Brathark's shield (Hoplon) but Brathark is too quick and uses the side of his hoplon to parry that blow and deflect it harmless to the ground, But the creature isn't finished. He then takes his axe and sweeps it low. It catches Brathark in the leg, a solid hit on his greaves. The force of the strike sends pain shooting through his leg.

The creature near Niklaus sees the Athenian coming in and knows she needs to take out Niklaus. She strikes out hard with her axe grazing him with it before he turns with it, evading most of the fierce looking weapon's damage. (Yes, this includes your cutting words but it made it oh so close to a miss). For his part, Niklaus returns the attack which she easily evades.

Brathark continues his assault on the large one, his axe providing the big creature a nasty gash across its chest to always remind him of this encounter. That is, if it lives long enough to talk of it.

It appears the creatures' spirits are starting to break as you note one of them (C22) running as fast as possible away from the battle.

Briadia attacks the creature that left itself open twice. The fury of her anger and her attacks is evident by the damage they do, nearly cutting the creature in half at the chest, as it falls dead. The creature next to it looks, and turns to run. Arcad's claws bite into its back deeply as it leaves but it continues to run from you. It is 30' away from you and Arcad.

The other one fires its strange bow again, this time targeting Briadia, the head of the arrow scraping along Briadia's thigh. It then continues to move away. It is now about 150' away. The rest of the band continues to dash away with their captives. As you watch them off in the distance you see a shimmering and then the most amazing thing happens, the creatures most in the lead disappear as if stepping through a door to another place, their captives screaming as they go.

Out of Character: Photokles takes 9 damage. Manos takes 12 damage. Brathark takes 13 points of damage. Niklaus takes 4 points of damage. Briadia takes 8 damage.

New map is in map slot 3.

The Short End says...

Having dispatched the two creatures with a well learned and often used maneuver from the arena, Tellias rushes to aid Manos in his outnumbered conflict.

Charging forward (To hex 26.07) he looks to engage and finish off the magic user (C20), flanking the creature, he attempts a killing blow to the neck of the creature with his doyu. He then stabs the other of the two attackers (C9) with the back end of his doyu as he withdraws it from his forward thrust with equal venom and power.

Out of Character: I have written the above as though I am making two attacks, but in fact it is only one. This is in case Manos kills off the magic user, then my flanking attack will be on C9 and I will be moving to 26.08 instead.

With the enemy mage suitably harried, Elymas turns back to the brute beside him. His rod flicks up and releases fire.

Out of Character: Firebolt at C19. Rolling at disadvantage. If Abn rules flanking negates that penalty, just ignore second attack roll.

Out of Character: : If the Athenian A2 takes down C24, then this is Niklaus' action. If not, direct the spell at C24.

In Character: :

Niklaus moves after the fleeing creature, strumming his lute, his head bobbing forcefully to the driving tune…

"Each night as you sleep, into your heart I'll creep,
You'll wake up feeling sorry I met you, hoping that soon that I'll forget you.
When you look in the mirror to comb your hair, you'll see my face just smiling there…
Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide from me, baby.... Got nowhere to run to, baby, nowhere to hide"

Out of Character: : Movement to be in range of Dissonant Whispers against C22.

Briadia smiles coldly as the second enemy falls. Her smile is erased when she sees the enemy disappearing along with the innocents. With this distraction she barely registers the arrow that grazed her leg." Arcad, kill that one, then follow me." She points to the one already fleeing from the bear." I will stop the others." The Amazon begins racing after the captives with great strides. She isn't pursuing the creature armed with a bow but the others with captives.

Arcad roars in fury and runs after the enemy that hurt him before. He swipes with great power behind his paw.

Out of Character: : Briadia is going all out running. She wants to catch up to the captives before it is too late.

Brathark Grimaces in pain as the creature takes a low blow but smiles a bit when he gives it something to think about with another nice hard hit on it. He continues to harass the big brute in hopes of finishing this battle with him.

Out of Character: Including a second attack as AOO if it presents itself.

Specific Action: Move the Moonbeam over to the creature Brathark is fighting.
