Warbeak the Winger,
the summoning talisman for this familiar is the talon of a sparrow preserved in amber. The disc shaped talisman is smaller then a coin with a small hole for a thin chain or leather thong to be warn as a necklace. Rubbing a finger across this talisman and focusing is what is required to summon Warbeak.
when called forth she simply appears quietly, sounds could give away her position prematurely and that would be a wasted opportunity for damage.
she is a black feathered bird with red eyes. When the wind blows hard against her feathers the top layer moves around to revel the pure white down feathers beneath. They are not often seen but are a beautiful sight to behold. Her feathers area bit fluffed up and rumpled in appearance, closer to an owl then an eagle, and she has two feathered horns on her head that lay back while flying.
The Beauty of Lady Fluke
My eyes have rarely seen a visage such as the one possessed by you.
Your strength of character can not be denied. Your hair the color of straw brings to mind a boundless expansive of harvest.
Your figure a endless beauty.
Your complexion reminds me of smooth alabaster stone, solid, smooth and cool to the touch.
Your eyes profess the raw potential and beauty of uncut emeralds.
You my dear lady fluke you are a portrait that countless generations could spend all their days gazing upon.
Finding a job
Finding a job is difficult.
Its not that one can not find a job for jobs are plentiful for those who seek them.
When people say that they cannot find a job what they mean is that they can not find a job that pays enough to support their standard of life.
This becomes increasingly difficult as one ages. When one is young it is not so hard to get less pay so that one can grow in their chosen profession into a prominent position and get the appropriate wage for their work. However as one gets older and accustomed to a way of life they do not wish to start over again at a lower standard of living that a lower paying wage would force upon then therefor instead they claim their are no jobs.
Of course I have to confess as a youth of only 16 winters I may not know of what I speak being rather poor at the moment so much so in fact that the wagon trip to liafair is almost beyond my means. I will endeavor however not to become to focused on how I live so that if I must change what I do then I can still survive.
