ST THOMAS, USVI: The Diocese of St Thomas in the US Virgin Islands has a new bishop. Herbert Bevard, 62, was ordained as bishop last Wednesday at a impressive and lengthy mass at the St Peter and Paul Cathedral Church in Charlotte Amalie, which was attended by hundreds of Catholics from several countries.
