A dead whale washed up on a Plymouth beach Tuesday and now researchers are preparing to take it away.

I am sure that is not helping but also the water traffic is a huge noise pollution for these poor fellas. It can disorient them and such. Often a whale gets beached and does not know how to get back out.
I also read one time a scientist suspected some areas are where old whales or sick one come to die much like the elephant graves.
I think they are one of the few majestic mammals left and hope we can keep them.
As the earth warms and water currents change I am sure we will see some species die off as the natural course of things I just hope many evolve to adapt to the new temperatures. After all the earth has been hotter then this before and species survived.
