A Calvert County woman was ordered jailed without bond today after allegedly telling sheriff's deputies she had beaten one of her three adopted daughters and kept the remains of the other two in a freezer for at least seven months.

I feel sorry for the little girl. To know that her sisters were beaten to death and she was not far behind. I hope that they find her a nice loving home where she will be cared for instead of beaten just for a check.

I hope this lady gets what she deserves for doing such a horrible crime against children. A slow death would be nice but that will not happen.

I believe it is really going to hit the fan on this one. It makes me sick to think of the terror these children went through. I think some of the CPS workers may have to answer some tough questions on this also. Of course they are always under resourced and under paid so the legislature should have to answer for some of it also.

I agree that the CPS workers have a lot to answer to and that the states should better fund the CPS so the workers are not so over worked that something like this can so easily slip through the cracks.

Those who overlooked these report should be jailed and jobs revoked. It hurts I would love a daughter and yet so many get abused by unworthy families.

The problem with them being fired is it will place even more stress on an understaffed department and more abused kids will fall through the cracks.

Yes it is sad to see some many abused and you can do nothing to help them.
