Letter: Regarding the new USVI Coast Guard cutter

I lived on the island of St. Croix from 1984 through 2004, so I was very interested in the report that a cutter will be assigned there. Then I read the last line of the report. The cutter will be home ported in San Juan, Puerto Rico. San Juan has a lovely harbor and the Coast Guard station is in a great location in Old San Juan.
