ST THOMAS, USVI: In commemoration of the inauguration of the first African-American United States president, Governor John deJongh has proclaimed Tuesday, January 20, 2009, as “President Barack Obama Day” in the US Virgin Islands. Obama will become the nation’s 44th President during inaugural ceremonies.
