When Jack Warner was praising 10 days without crime in Lavantille I was like what? You only praise that if you have peace for at least a couple of months. Don't speak too quick because its not only victims that listen but those bandits too.

That East POS problem has to do with the justice system. Remember back when they were arresting some of them for stealing people's wallets when they were caught on CCTV, yet after awhile they were let free? I think Basdeo Panday was helping them back then. Remember that? That is the problem. The police are doing there job but then after the arrest you get this lock up thing with the law.

One of the most recent plans the National Security Council has is to take one of the HDC apartments that was gutted by fire and establish a police post there. It seems that many residents are already against this because according to them (Via TV6 News) some of the police are affiliated with the gangs and it will therefore cause them even further distress while providing protection for some. The police commissioner said that the Duncan Street area had almost 200 murders alone in the past four years.

Gangs have overrun the Betham, Eastern Quarry, East Port of Spain and Lavantille. Some are killed in broad daylight and civilians including children are not spared. TV6 News reported that people who take taxis in these areas are often threatened by gang members telling them which taxi to take, etc.

Comments: don't feel bad Trinidad if you look at most of the Caribbean Islands the same thing is going on the gangs and criminals are out of control no respect for no one not even the kids. Also in Belize the same thing is going on a lot of murder and senseless killing by gangs and criminals and these killers are young they range from 16/17/18/19/20 years Old and it is getting worst law abiding people are living in fear lets take back our Islands and country and implement the Death penalty.
