In a 1980 book, "Stones from the stars," by Theodore Rogers Le Maire, that author mentions several huge meteorites that have come to earth in the month of February. For example, one that fell near Paragould, Arkansas, on February 17, 1931, weighed over 1000 lbs., if I remember right.
Another one, that fell near Norton, Kansas, on February 18, 1948, weighed a lot more, a ton or more.
Meteorites come to earth as fireballs. This one, if it is a meteorite, came down on March 15,
