They send the wolves at night because the bandits can not see well at night. The way up into the nests are not far apart and we can rest in the west one safe from wolfs most of the night and attack the east one just before or right around dawn. The fact that we do not have to worry about horses makes it safe for all to climb up and take out the nest.
That's a good point but then that means you're thinking like all of us are going to the top cause if we like leave someone of us at the bottom then the wolves will find us.
Yes the way I would like it to play out is like this:
At dusk we climb up to the western lookout point and kill all the bandits that are there watching for people. Have everyone get some sleep but post guard shifts. After a couple shifts or four hours every one gets up and climbs down the mountain to move to the path to go up to the eastern lookout. We all climb up and kill all but one bandit. Keeping him alive to question. This should work I am thinking. We know from the past that the wolves and some bandits leave the pass early on after dark but return usually before mid of night. If we are up on the western lookout our own guard can see when they return and we can ready ourselves for the east assault. We can rest again after the east look outs are taken care of.
What do you think?
I like that plan! Let's do it and get a good foot in the south so we don't have to be like running like last time.
Why isn't Kalfie eating or drinking anything, some kind of sickness? Give him something to eat / drink and then when he looks well we can make the ascent. We need to see if our bows can be ready as we go up in case of ambush.
