KINGSTON, Jamaica: Thousands of public sector workers in Jamaica could be added to the unemployment line if the trade unions that represent them say no to the government's wage freeze. The dire warning was issued on Wednesday by Prime Minister Bruce Golding as he reacted to reports.

With the way the economy is right now I feel that the Unions should take this into consideration and accept this wage freeze for this year. Next year they can look at where the country is and may get their wage increase then.
