This is what scares me about having these drones up in the air. I mean so many things can go wrong when you don't have a human out there with it.

I agree. The existence of drones (And satellites for that matter) are an invasion of privacy and even dangerous.
* Do you want the drones spying on your lives? How would you feel if these drones were watching you right now? Watching you sunbathe? Spying on your pool activities?
* What if a drone malfunctioned and blew up your house while you were in it? Everything that goes into the air must eventually come down. Can we really feel safe with remote control bombs flying around? How much control do people have while flying these killing machines 'from the ground'?
