French fishing boats have blocked the Channel ports of Boulogne, Dunkirk and Calais and surrounding streets to protest fishing quotas, halting ferry service to Britain. Fishermen accuse low EU quotas of destroying their livelihoods.

If the quotas are set so low that people are meeting the quotas soo easy then something may need to be changed.
