Funbikerchick Introduction
So what are you saying, I like to talk?

Actually, I do.
On an entirely different note, today I came close to wrecking on my "bike." It is the closest I have ever come and the closest I ever want to come to wiping out! It was a bit wet in places this morning because it had rained yesterday. I was coming around a corner. Saw a wet patch, but thought nothing of it. A pretty tight turn so I was leaning the bike over pretty good. Turns out it wasn't water but some kind of slick goo. I don't think it was oil because a few minutes later when I stopped for gas, I saw what was on my tire and it was an opaque color, whitish, not like oil at all.
Anyway, as I was saying, I had the bike leaned over pretty far in the turn and the back tire hits this slick and loses all traction. The tire kicks out from under me and I am on my way down. Instinct (and training) kicks in. I put my feet down. They of course don't stay down at 30 mph, and I did end up hurting my back in the process from the jolt that caused, but at least if I fell the bike wouldn't end up on top of me. Anyway, I held on tight and accelerated a bit to bring the bike back up and under control. In the process, I burned holes in the legs of my suit pants. As the bike was wiggling, the muffler must have come in contact with them. That is the worst of it. I have now ruined this suit and it wasn't cheap. I can't really afford to replace it either.
Well, needless to say. After that I was quite skittish about leaning the bike into any other turns and you can't turn if you don't lean.
The ride home should be interesting.
