Just read your Blog and I have to say that in the business world a lot of people feel that trampling on morals is OK for the sake of business and that is just not true. It is tax season now and sure the workload is more intense. I hope it all works out for you in the end. Are you still considering the prospects of managing your own one day? Also:

Happy Birthday!

Introduction FarSeer

Wow Roz, sorry but your boss is not someone I would like to see anywhere around! And you know what makes me more sick about the whole thing? It's that people like HIM "make it" and become wealthy while you (an honest and hard worker) trying to do your best and is shoot down in the process. And don't let get started that people like him in our "common place environment" (I don't want to say the word) are highlighted and even given the highest places of responsibility. It disgusts me, truly! But like the saying goes...What goes around comes around!

On a better note, I hope you have a great birthday!

Yes, my boss is a piece of work. We'll see if he'll follow through. Interestingly enough, I feel like we have a better understanding of each other now that I've made him seriously angry. And the other partners never said one word to me about that email.

Thank you for birthday wishes! I still can't believe I'm 50 years old. Bleagh! (It feels very odd to say it out loud.) My mom is taking me and the kids out for dinner at a local franchise place called Mimi's. Really great food, but a little pricey. And she said she's baking a cake for me today, too. I feel loved smile.gif

Oh, so you are saying that you're still a young chic. As for Mimi's sounds like a good time, you may want to place a review after you dine: Source 5

Introduction FarSeer

You know I always think that as one gets older, you just see numbers going up but your heart, mind, etc still very much in your early 20's! Isn't? At least it is for me, in few days I will turn 35 and I am like...What? shocked.gif' /><!--endemo--> </div>

FarSeer Introduction

I think you're right, Soli - I still do feel very much like I did when I was younger. The only difference is the body doesn't keep up anymore smile.gif Well, and I think I have better judgment now than I did then!

Yes it is that better judgement that keeps our body in one piece that our younger self did not do such a great job at all the time. I would say that if the other partners did not say anything means that you may have been more in the right.

I hope you are staying safe with all the rain and mud slides. Seems it is fire or mudslides out there all the time. smile.gif
