I know what you mean about being easier to deal with problems when you share them with someone else. It is definently easier for me to deal with things when others are encouraging me.

Sol, I realize you may feel like you are a weak person, but I don't see it that way. I believe you are a very strong individual. You are just going through and extremely difficult time. You are lucky to have JB there to help you. I admire the both of you and continue to keep you in my prayers as well.

I'm sorry to hear the job search isn't going well. I know given time you will be able to find something that is perfect for you, and that will pay you more. I look forward to the day when you three can go back to Trinidad where you were happier, and the web business was more successful.

At first I was very sad for your situation, and your family. But now, when I read about your grandmothers other son, I get very angry! I just cant imagine being that incredibly self centered! Saying he would commit suicide if he could? That one comment shows the true weakness of a man who cannot handle his own life, none the less assisting in taking care of anothers like his mom. Its no wonder you had to be the ones to take care of her, he was to weak.

As always, you and yours are in my thoughts and prayers of me and my extended family.

I am glad to hear the meds are helping Felipe. They have been a wonder for my grandson too. I was against him going on the at first. Now, I would drive right back to his mother's house to pick them up if she forgot to send them with him when he came for the weekend. It truly is amazing the difference they make.

They do have an adverse effect on his appetite and he did lose some weight at first, but the doc then put him on a "fatten him up" diet and that seemed to help. Also, as he has adjusted to the meds, his appetite is less affected than before.

I am so sorry to hear the latest in your saga with your grandmother and your uncle. Here's a thought. The next time he starts ranting about how it is his mother's house, tell him "fine, give us the money we need to leave, and we will go." I am sure he doesn't want you to go because then he will have to take care of his mother himself.

Also, how is pulling your hair not a crime? Seems to me like he committed assault and battery.

Oh believe me he wants us out. He has an agenda and I think the agenda is this stupid house he craves so much.

I do not know the laws in the US but here is Mickey Mouse land. I have to have marks all over my body or a black eye to be consider a "crime".

I see by your blog that things are still miserable for you. I am not a man of faith, but you and your family are people of faith. Once upon a time I was too. When I was young, one scripture helped me get through the hard times. I gave it to JB as well and hope it will give you strength as it once did me.
