Thank you very much for that scripture, Kon smile.gif . Thanks everyone for your prayers. I know that because of your faith and prayers we are here in Trinidad now and I look forward to a bright future with my family. It will not be easy at first because we are starting from scratch but the Lord has proven me he is always on my side and at every step of the way.

Love you guys!
Sol

Hi, LDS -- how are you adjusting? Do you hear anything about your grandma's situation? How is Felipe handling being back in Trini? I think about these things often, and I hope your doing well.

Love,
Roz

First of all, thanks for asking. You are always so interested and I really appreciate your friendship. You are the best!

how are you adjusting?

It is very tough. You cannot imagine. We are starting from 0 so you can well imagined how things really are. We have to move again soon because of some flooding issue with the apartment and the Landlord do not want to fix it!. This is bad for everything, specially for our business since we will need to cut phone and internet once again!. We cannot have "better" luck than this. sad.gif. We are renting a furnished apartment but when we move we will likely get a small place unfurnished which means we will need to get everything back. It gives me a headache just thinking about how we are going to make it. I just trust that the Lord can put people in our way that can help us with work. I started a small job in a private secondary school until the Ministry of Education can call me for a job (it may take longgg). The children are really tough with, they come from very low income families and they just do not want to do any work at all. I spend most of the time "talking" to them than teaching. It's really frustrating and the salary is really low compared to what I was getting with the Ministry.

I called her sometime ago and of course she did not know who I was. She is with a lady who is taking care of her 24/7. She sounded good.

How is Felipe handling being back in Trini?

He is the one who I am most concerned about. He loves Trinidad, specially the food. Since we came he did not go to school yet because he needs special education and is so EXPENSIVE here to afford and the schools that they do it, the teachers are not well qualified to do the work. I cannot do homeschooling because it is against the law here and I may need a special permission from the Minister of Education in order to do it. He misses school badly and I cannot wait for us to finally settle down so we can really focus on him and his needs but as long as "basic" neccesities of life are not being met as they should, we cannot do that.

I am sorry for all the negativity. I wish I could say better things. Just please pray for us a lot. It means a lot to me. Thanks.

Sorry to hear that teaching isn't working out quite the way you hoped it would. Unfortunately, some kids have grown up in an environment in which all they know is yelling, and to take advantage of kindness. Its hard to get through to them, and the method is so stressful. I hope that you can find a way to both get through to them that allows you less stress in your life. Stressful jobs make home life harder to deal with, but can also make home a sweet sanctuary.

From what I know of you, I think that any child would be lucky to be born to you an JB. Having kids is great, you wouldn't regret having more. Take Care!

Pandora Introduction

You are so sweet!. Thanks for your words of encouragment. I was telling my students yesterday that sometimes I get on "their case" so much is because I do not give up on them, that I care about them and that I know they can become great and succesful people if they want. One of them said: "But Miss, what about if you try and keep failing?". I said: "You just get up with your head up and keep trying until you succeed".

Yes, I know I will not regret having more. I cannot wait to give Felipe many brothers and sisters! smile.gif

As we were all discussing in the moods thread in the last few days, I've noticed today you are irritated. Is that accurate? What has you irritated? How have everything gone today?

PS. Thank you for always being so helpful.
