Krusten laughs and says, "Yes, the poor old man you had driving that must have been tired trying to turn those horses around. Its a lot for an old man."
In camp she takes up her watch and keeps watch with her bow nearby as usual.
Lukas watches with some satisfaction as the third goblin is reduced to cinders before turning his attention to the wound. He's already slowed the bloodflow to the area along with most of his sensation of pain, one of the gifts of his turning, so he carefully pulls out the projectile and presses a cloth to the hole.
"It would seem we missed one. Do you see anything else Aliana?" Edited: daishain on 31st Oct, 2016 - 3:03am
Aliana sees the goblin go up in flames just in front of her. Her jaw drops as she lowers her swords. She sheathes them then walks back to Lukas. He was more useful than she thought. She grinned at him as she approached. " That was… Pretty amazing. Are you ok to travel? We really should be on the move before more of their friends or the hobgoblins show. ". She finishes securing the goblin and applying the gag. Aliana then studies the area as he asks about if she sees anything. In the event no one else is seen and he is ok to travel they will depart quickly with the goblin in tow.
"Agreed l-let me secure this pad and we c-can depart. Its not as bad as it might've looked."
(Lukas isn't planning anything fancy in regards to first aid, if he can he'll just stuff the cloth in his tunic so it will press up against the wound and help it clot. After that, assuming no more surprises, getting on the road as described before.).
Being towards the back of the group, and nothing much exciting going on, Albrecht listens to Faerydae talk about her deity. He has no interest in really worshiping the elven god, but agrees with his teachings that we should care for those who are injured. He does offer some resistance on the point of when it is more merciful just to kill someone (Or something) who is grievously injured, but otherwise passes the conversation amicably. He keeps his eyes peeled, but they haven't really seen much danger this side of the creek, and a caravan had just come through recently, so he had no reason to suspect that anything would happen. He just trudges along behind the others, and makes camp when they arrive. He spends some time that evening with Champ, working on their tricks and reinforcing their bond through hunting. They don't stray further than 100 yards from the camp. He offers to take watch, feeling that he is mostly forgiven by the group (Or at least not ostracized).
Out of Character: The first spot and listen are for the road, the second for while they are in the woods, and the third is for the watch.
Lukas will address whoever stopped them. "W-we are here with information on the hobgoblins plaguing the eastern roads. And this one" He gives the captive a light shake for emphasis, "Is a part of that, we believe him to be part of what was a lookout team, watching for travelers and caravans for the hobgoblins to hit. If he can be made to c-cooperate, much could be gained." At something of a loss, Lukas looks to his companion in hopes she has aught to add.
Aliana looks on as Lukas is speaking to the guard. She observes the guards expression for anything that might help. Looking up at the guard she smiles her most innocent smile. "I would really appreciate it if you would let us take him into the city. As my comrade said we found an ambush site the hobgoblins are constructing. I think this goblin could have valuable information. In the event he does reveal valuable information I will be sure to pass it on to your superiors that it was your idea to question him. " She smiles at him wide eyed.
