Ok, I'm like a bit confused and that's not hard to do but which one are we actually doing? Staying for the orcs or like going after caravan.

If we have enough time before the caravan leaves, my plan is to check around town and check out the orcs and determine if there is an impending attack.
If it looks clear, with relative safety for the town for about two weeks, go with the caravan.
If it is leaving too soon, or it looks like there is an attack, stay and work on the orc problem.
So it is a conditional decision of Plan A and B, with A taking precedence if there is a question of intent.

From our scouring the town for info:

Outside town, we can run into orcs at any time or place , but they have not seen a large band so they do not think an attack is close at hand. Most of the farmers also say that the largest group they have seen was around 12 to 15.
From this, I say we have time to check out the landscape around town, take down some of these encroachers, maybe find out some additional information, and then head back and escort the caravan in two days. I'm going to go ahead and make this official so we can get "started", but anyone disagreeing with this may make their statement and I can adjust our plans accordingly if needed.
I took the liberty of sending Skedvick ahead with myself taking point and the rest of the group hanging back a bit - if anyone has anything they have an issue with, or want to do or say, feel free to speak your mind here.

Born Free says...What about talking with some of the locals in the tavern to see if we can get more information, like best routes, and whatever else we might need. Plus I can take a whiff of the pot roast so I can feel inspired to get more orc heads.
