The two men at the ends of the net relax their grip and move over to take your axe. Once they have your axe they will begin to tie your hands. Once the guy sees your disarmed he will savagely kiss Maddie on the lips as she tries to fight him. He laughs as he turns and heads for the farm house. Maddie slung over his shoulder. She is mad and is doing her best to fight him.

Faerra watches as the man takes Maddie towards her house, eyes smoldering with hatred. She forces herself to look away and consider the two men near her. First thing's first, she thinks, I can't do anything like this. I need to figure something out.

"So, is it worth it? Selling out your souls so that he gets to have a taste of half-blood? I don't know about you two, but I'd guess the guys I tore through in there wish they'd stayed home instead. What did he promise you? That you'd get her after he was done? And you believe him? He just sent all those men to their deaths so he could have her, you think he'll even blink at killing the two of you? Of course, if you'd like to risk it for a child's body, feel free. It's your life. Or maybe you were hoping to have your way with me? You ought to know better than that. You saw what I did in there. No amount of fleshly pleasure is worth the pain I'd cause you trying to get it. But..." She paused only briefly, for effect, "Well, if I were willing, then it wouldn't be nearly as dangerous."

The two men laugh at you as they finish tieing your hands behind your back. One whispers in your ear as he takes a firm hold of your upper arm. Maybe you will enjoy it willing or not, before we sell you to slavers. Just like the girl who will bring a fair price in the slave market. With that he starts leading you towards the house. As you draw closer to the house you can see more bodies laying about. Off by a tree you see a large body of a man unmoving. Who ever these men are they paid a heavy price to get the two of you. You know of five in the barn the three still alive and the eight others you see laying about with arrows in them and what looks like sword wounds. Maddie was busy with her bow.

"Heheh... You talk tough, but it looks like you fellows bit off more than you could chew. You've lost so many men, and now you have to escort a bunch of unwilling, dangerous, illegal prisoners. Not to mention that if we're to be of any value as slaves, you can't kill us or cripple us. To recoup your losses, you might actually need us to be in perfect condition, but even then we're dangerous slaves, and dangerous slaves don't sell so easily, do they now? Me in particular. What sort of slavedriver am I going to answer to? How useful a slave am I when I need to be kept tied up at all times? And I'm not exactly a beautiful specimen, either. Which leaves you with what, a child and her mother, that is if you haven't killed them yet. Her father too if you managed to take him down peacefully. At most here you have four slaves, two who are next to worthless, one who's a mere child, and one who might actually earn you a profit. It's cost you so many men, too. Oh, and then there's the curse that you two have been under ever since you touched my axe. That's REALLY going to suck, in a few months."

THe two men look at each other at the mention of a curse. They quickly drop your axe and begin making a symbol of warding for evil spirits. THe one looks at you as if your some witch doctor. About this time you hear a loud scream from inside the house. You can tell it was not Maddie who screamed.

Faerra grins and looks at her two captors, ignoring the scream.

"You know, I could tell you how to get rid of the curse. I mean, at this point, you have two options, really. You could untie me, give me my axe back, and then I'll tell you how to get rid of the curse, and you can leave here, and keep your lives. Or you can follow whatever orders you've been given, and wait for the curse to take effect."

The two men move closer to each other as they look at you and at the axe in question. They seem a bit worried. You will hear something from the house but you can not tell what it was. A moment later a arrow slams into one of the mens eye knocking him back. As the other man tries to react a arrow slams into his neck. He gurgles as he slumps to the ground. As you look around you see a half dressed Maddie running towards you. He shirt has been half ripped off and she does not have a skirt anymore. SHe does however have a bow, arrows and what looks like a dagger as she runs upo to you and slices through the ropes holding you. She will tell you to quickly get back into the barn as she heads that way.

You hear a few loud curses coming from the house and then the front door slamming open as a few men come running out.

Faerra quickly picks up her axe and heads after Maddie, grinning vilely at the men as she runs ahead. Once at the Barn, she turns to be ready to try and hold them off. She talks over her shoulder to Maddie. "Sorry I couldn't protect you better, kiddo, but I swear, none of them are getting past me this time."
