Having lost the sun in the canopy of trees you can no longer be certain your still headed north. The bright side of things is you were able to find a long to float on. The log will hold your weight.

The bad part is you seem to have drawn the attention of a rather large snake. It is swimming towards you as paddle hard toward a raised piece of land.

You gain the small piece of land not far ahead of the large snake. As you throw daggers at the snake one hits it in the side. The snake does not pause as it slides ever closer to you.

Mark off one throwing dagger as it is lost to you now.

You slice and you dice wit hall your might but you look and see the snake unharmed besides what your dagger has done. The snake strikes lightning quick but your just a bit quicker as it bites unto thin air.

I rolled a 5 on its attack.

Your two hits make the snake a bit leary of you but it is still looking for a meal. As it waves back and forth looking for an opening it strikes. It is not a square hit but it knocks you to the ground with the force of the blow. You take 3 points damage from a bite.
