A magnitude 5.7 earthquake erupted 5 miles southeast of Ocotillo at 9:26 p.m., causing sharp shaking throughout San Diego County, the you.S. Geological Survey says. The quake may be an aftershock to the 7.2 Easter Sunday quake near Mexicali. Ref. SignOnSanDiego.com
