LOL, well welcome to parenthood! LOL. I have not have a proper sleep from 3 years now :smile.gif. My son sometimes decides he wants to get up at 5:00 at the morning to play and watch cartoons :smile.gif so...you stil ahead a longggg road. But you may be lucky and your kid will sleep all through the night!. That would be a real blessing! lol

Both my boys were delivered by emergency C-section. Most U.S. hospitals do everything in their power to save the lives of both the mother and baby, but the baby's life comes first.

My 2nd C-section was especially scary... Colin was about a week late and got less active over the course of 2 days. I called the hospital and they urged us to come in immediately. During the pre-op exam it was discovered he was breech. A C-section was definitely needed. The scary part was that I had become dangerously pre-ecclampsic. The OBs were worried that I would bleed out on the table. My husband didn't tell me until some time later that there was an emergency surgical team waiting in the next OR in case I crashed.

Our Higher Power was surely protecting me and Colin that day, and I am forever grateful.
