[Camp] Southern Darkness - Page 44

So you think we should push forward and camp in the cave that Thomas first battled the bandits within?

OOC: I think we should stay where we are. If the bandits come out and attack, whoever is on guard duty will have to wake everyone else up. If we are in the caves, the sound of battle could echo, bringing more bandits to us (if they're not in one large group). Also, if we are to stay in the cave we might get cornered. Out in the open that wouldn't be possible, but we could still get surrounded.

Ooc: If we like stay where we are then we can be hit from the mountain tops and the pass. We'll be like sitting ducks for target practice! Here's what I think... Go back about two miles north and camp using the wagon for cover. Don't set no fire so they don't know we're there. If we like hear wolves then we can set two fires and use one to fake our camp.

Rather off topic, but...
Anbuelf you need to update your character and stuff.

Occ: Anbuelf isn't familiar with the area that's why she likely suggested it. Were it a covered area then I would agree with Play on this one for now because I just thought of one thing in particular... I don't think they are as big as they used to be. Its also better to approach the cave during daylight hour so we can see what has changed since last we've been here.

I see my mistake with the suggestion and I agree with play as well, except instead of setting too fires, build one for the fake camp and leave ours unlit.

Rather off topic, but...
What do I have to update? My equipment, stats, and skills are all there... At least I can see them... I'm confused.

Ooc: Alright with the one fire but I wouldn't like light any unless we hear wolves because they would just sniff us out. Lets go.

Rather off topic, but...
Umm... Well if you notice we have images like representing our character, symbol, etc. All the selections when you edit your profile marked "medieval" updates this.

I am not worried about the mountain tops because I doubt any are there. I think staying out of the pass for the night is a good idea. We can approach everything fresh in the morning. Thomas will look at those around the camp. Someone here can use the chain armor so we can get better armor on everyone. Decide who among the fighters it will serve best.

Pundit eyes the armor with excitement,

"If no one else wants it I won't mind having it as I have nothing but boots on an my clothes"

Looks around to see who will object.

ooc: I don't mind doing a roll for it to be fair.
