Cody Lehe, now 23, thought that a clear CT scan meant he could go back to the high school football field after a concussion in 2006. But a second hit days later left the teen with disabling injuries. Now, doctors and his family want to warn others of the risks.

Rest has long been the cornerstone of concussion treatment.
