say things the teachers Young

But for some reason it doesn't sound 'good or acceptable'. I mean for instance if a friend of you call you 'foxy' it will offend ya? Is it an offensive word? To me, sounds so sexually explicit. Your teacher was so out of place *shaking head*

Young teachers, and the things they say... Reviews Consumer & Travel Family Culture

Being called foxy in english means very very attractive physically.  It was out of place for the teacher to say something like that.  I had a teacher in high school who used to stand over me at my desk.  I didn't catch on to it for a while but at the time I liked to wear v neck shirts, they weren't low or anything but when someone is stand over then...well you see stuff and then he would make comments about my clothing, if I wore a big baggy t shirt the next day.  Creepy no?  Well he was a young teacher and divorced too.  Bad combo.  I never did report him or anything.  The thought never crossed my mind.

It seems that young teachers are trying to fit in with the teenagers these days and are saying and doing things that they shouldn 't.  The young ones still feel that they are allowed to joke in this matter with high schoolers instead of keeping that boundary between student and teacher.  The sad thing is that most students would think nothing of it and accept in todays society and think it cool and funny to be thought of as attractive by someone older than them but still young enough to be considered one of their own.  Â

Congrats on having such a higher code of moral conduct.
Good luck, with the drama teacher.  Hope he starts to act and speak appropriately.  keep a close eye on him and watch out for any more misconduct on his part.

Thats so true bink i believe that younger teachers can be a little looser in their off time or when they are not teaching a class. Like, if the lesson and all the work was done and eveyrone was just chatting I can see a teacher maybe being a loose and making comments that are very, very obviously joking in manner but sometimes they just cross the line...
