Issues Affecting The Caribbean
It is the first time in 38 long years that the name Panday will not be on a ballot paper in Trinidad and Tobago. The opposition United National Congress (UNC) has omitted the daughter and brother of the founder of the party from the list of candidates to contest the May 24 general elections in the oil rich country.
