Adam Is The Holy Ghost?

Is Adam or Michael the Holy ghost?

Is that what Pres. Young taught when he said

for me it sounds right, God the first = the Father of Spirit, God the second = The Father of Immortality, and God the third = The Father of Mortality..
Then I think since it need to be a God to do the role the Holy Ghost have, Jesus took that role at the Time of Adam, as we see in Moses 5:9. For he was also a Spirit and a God at the time...

Comments: Lets you forget that it was the Holy Ghost that was sent to Adam after he was driven from the Garden.

Ghost Holy The Adam

You are missing the Whole point of Holy Ghost is to be a spirit, so it can dwell with us.

If Adam is the Holy Ghost, then the Holy Ghost was the first man to come on the earth, and thus nobody has the Holy Ghost as a constatin compaion. (The Holy Ghost is now a man, probably ressurected when Christ was ressurected).

This would completly throw off the whole mission of Holy Ghost, to be born on this earth.

If the Holy Ghost WAS going to be somebody on this earth, its far better for it to be the LAST person on the earth, then the first.

Well, the first point I would like to ask is this: Do you accept the doctrines that the early brethren all believed in. At least up till the change of 1900. Only later was the Adam God be rejected as a wrong doctrine. That of course means that all the earlier prophets taught false doctrines? even in the endowments?

The early brethren believed that there are the following people:
Eloheim
Jehovah
Michael (or Adam)
Jesus Christ

Oh my, that means Jehovah is not Jesus Christ?
They also believed that Michael or Adam is God the eternal Father, the creator of our spirits as well as our mortal bodies in the beginning.

Brigham Young taught that Adam was a resurrected immortal and exalted being that came to this earth (he created it with his God, Jehovah). Adam brought one of his wives Eve with him to start creating physical bodies for their own spirit children.

So, if you believe this then the whole notion of Adam being the Holy Ghost makes no sense at all. I would suggest you read the Journal of Discourses.

Comments: What does the church today say who the Holy Ghost is... Nothing right? If it is an office we certainly will know nothing about it in this life. We struggle each day just to keep the presence of the Holy spirit in our lives let alone try to understand him!
