Prosecutors on Thursday demanded two years in prison for a 27-year-old man charged with assaulting and seriously injuring Kabuki star Ichikawa Ebizo in a bar brawl last November.
The prosecutors demanded the penalty for Lion Ito, a former member of a motorcycle gang, at the second court hearing of his trial at the Tokyo District Court.
Ito is accused of punching and kicking Ebizo, 33, in the early morning of Nov. 25 at a Tokyo building housing a bar where they were drinking and inflicting injuries requiring about two months to heal, according to the indictment. (AP) Source: cleanup
