'Barefoot Bandit' pleads guilty in Bahamas court as US eyes deportation

FREEPORT, Bahamas (AFP) -- A 19-year-old fugitive burglar and Internet folk hero dubbed the "Barefoot Bandit" pleaded guilty Tuesday in a Nassau court to illegally landing a plane on the Bahamas. Colton Harris-Moore was sentenced to three months in jail or a 300 dollar fine.
