Already preparing the defeat of the party? Not much confidence? perhaps this time the GM will not put an inexperienced party against insurmountable odds... perhaps this time the gm will give us a fighting chance and not have us run with full pack into combat... perhaps I am dreaming...

OK I admit it I was dreaming I just read the story, myst is dead... Interesting that a trained warror was beaten by a bear, but it could be possesed by a deamon, regardless he is arbitrairially dead. I must simply be the worst archer in the worl to miss that many times with a long bow at close range... Standard long bow does between 3 and 18 points of damage depending on the system... a bears claw does d4+2 ... unless the bear rolled 2 crits there is no way it could have killed myst, oh well I have already made my opinions known... my thaco must really suck too, as must everyones... we should scatter like dogs and hide the bear should die from the poison... besides we should really stear clear of rabits until we reach level 5

I agree with everything said, I am also curious to know why I didn't use the spear I spent so long on  or why we didn't run fight like agreed before or why the bear attacked something that could defend itself. Or why there was mosquitoes with so much wind. >:(     How can Medusa watch me if She's dead?                                              I was thinking it could be a bear (weird story in offtopic) I guess we will have to be more specific.                           Would you like to lead Molave I am not a born leader like you have shown.                                                                    I would like to climb the loft. Hopefully Liete makes it I want to go and help but feel like I already got my freebie and if it killed two with out a scratch what's two more.                                                                                      I want to look aroung for a large stone rock pitch fork or anything that might be avaliable to us in the loft that could be useful. I have a torch and remember that the animal is afraid of fire but I don't want to ignite the hay/barn.
Try to keep hitting it with arrows your bound to hit it sometime especially if it is getting closer. If you run out of arrows you are welcome to my primitive spear. I hope Liete can outrun it, unless she wants to fight here is her chance for action. She could also play dead or try to scare it or hit it on the nose. Hope fully we can all be safe in the loft. I hope the bear cant climb ladders or fly. We will have to play the waiting game and hope the poison works quickly.
I also want to drop all my stuff in a corner so I can move easier and hopefully not miss from 2 feet away, again, twice-(I have to jump back from it's bite but miss it twice with my sword? mabey I sould consider gardening)                                                                                           I think what we should do now is say a prayer.[offtopic]Today I went for a walk by my house and decided to explore a dirt road close by I was going along and all of a sudden heard some noise and crashing I looked over and by the back of these houses saw this very large black thing crashing through the brush I thoght someones big dog got out but then realized that is way to staky to be a dog. yep you guessed it a black bear not more than 30 meters away  I picked up a piece of rebar close by and began to walk fast it went into a ditch and I didn't know if it was chargeing me or hiding I said a quick prayer to myself watched my back and made it home safe  Just to encounter one in the story lol. More charcters might be able to join us for backup, I saw some intrest in one guy. (P.S. I think JB has it in for all of us. wink.gif [/offtopic]

The Game Master says...

Sorry to barge in, but LDS brought to my attention an error in the story where Medusa is already dead and yet looks... that line was changed to:

Liete watches as Wraith runs into the barn. What to do? You have the feeling that this bear is not 'normal'.

Sorry for any misunderstandings, please 'contact' me right away using the Contact link above if you find any of these discrepancies.

Liete will draw her sword and begin to slash viciously at the bear in hopes of either knocking it to the ground or evenutally causing enough damage to it for it to run off.

[offtopic]Guys, one of you will have to be leader.  I can't be here regularly enough to lead, until I get home access.  As for my actions, I have posted what I want my character to do.  I will go with the majority vote for the leader.[/offtopic]
