If this is what I think it is it was designed specifically to destroy hardened targets. Hardened meaning something that is an underground facility, in a cave, dug into a mountain, or otherwise very well fortified. It works off of the concussion. We humans certainly are expert at developing ways to kill one another.

Rather off topic, but...
Maybe we should have developed as a species where personal combat or even personal events were the way we solved problems. Then, we'd pick someone to arm wrestle with the hero of the country we have an issue with. Or maybe have a fencing match. Of they could parachute me onto some deserted island where I match wits with the best of the enemy in a one on one war to determine the victor. Or, if we want to be more intellectually focused, we could have a game of chess or challenge with a complicated mathematical equation that needed solving.

William, its all Trump hype meant to scare other nations like North Korea and Syria so they know that he isn't afraid to go a touch lower than nuclear to get the point across. Maybe the Taliban over there will quiet down a bit now after that loud party.
