I had to look it up to know what you are talking about. The wikipedia, which is not the most accurate, gave the meaning as:

Solipsism is the philosophical idea that only one's own mind is sure to exist. The term comes from Latin solus (alone) and ipse (self).


There are concepts like that but in the Matrix its more of what we think exists rather than establishing that it is self and everything else may not be.
