Teas from East and South Africa, cocoa beans from the Ivory Coast, and that wonderful first cup of coffee, are some of the products that led to fair trade practices. Some unknown humanitarian began to notice how the very the poor were being used to spend most of their lives without survival compensation wages. While those exporting the products to various European nations were becoming wealthy.
