I'm no expert on the Physiology of Ghosts, but they have a will and they can build relationships just as they did when they were living. Most can become a confident or guide.

Hollywood does really good effects to make you believe ghosts can move matter and wind through the use of some unseen force but if that were really the case then people would be going through paranormal troubles everyday because there would be a ghost for every dead person ever born and I'm sure a lot of them were angry or sexually active during their living period.
