[medieval] Circus - Page 3

The Game Master says...

Ice whispers to the group,

"O.K we need to be ready to make a break when and if the circus workers return. At some point they will open the cage, when they do, we need to be ready. Let's have our weapons drawn and hidden under our clothes or behind our backs to take them by surprise. When free, we need to run quickly for cover in the woods where we can regroup and decide what action to take next. At the same time, we need to try to escape on our own. Let's see if we can get some of these villagers to help break the lock."

Ice then goes to the front of the cage and asks for volunteers to help them escape by saying,

"You have all had your gold stolen. We want to help you get it back. That is why they have locked us up. We cannot wait for the soldiers. By then all the circus people will be gone and we will never find them. If you all work together, you should be able to free us. Some of you should get a very large stone and use it to break the lock off of this cage so we can get out of here. Unless of course one of you has something one of our thieves can use to pick the lock and free us that way."

One woman who is willing to help steps forward and asks inquisitively,

"Why would you have a thief among you that can pick locks?"

You can tell others are also interested to hear your response. You can hear mutterings of their gold being stolen by thieves and they have faces that express doubt in allowing you to be free until the soldiers come.

You can see the Circus workers and their torches are long gone in the dark.

GM: Say what you will do now. You need to reset party order.

Circus medieval

The Game Master says...

You start to give the best explanations for your use of the word 'thief', but the woman is unsure if she should help you. At the same time some of the men from the Village, the more burly ones, call to her to help them first, but the prospect of getting her gold back is better than simply letting the men go. She thinks for awhile and then...

GM: The party leader should now proceed to the dice page and roll the current dice chance called, 'What will the woman do?'. The outcome based on your roll is as follows:

1. 1-60 she does nothing and waits for the soldiers
2. 61-85 she helps the men of the Village
3. 86 - 100 she helps the party

Based on your score you will know the result and can then say what you will do.

[medieval] Circus RPG PBP Medieval World

The Game Master says...

GM: No dice roll is made

The woman decides to leave you locked up until the soldiers arrive. Her attempt to get the men out from the other cage is futile even with the help of others.

After some time you are approached by the Village soldiers, who seem to be in no rush at all despite your anguish to get them to understand that there is hope to catch the real culprits.

Hours pass and you know that the Wizard and his crew are now a memory. You travel back to the Village on foot contemplating the nights events and wondering what next could be on the dawn of tomorrow.

GM: The scenario is over. You may wish to discuss in the new camp where you went wrong, what you could have done differently, etc. Party stats will be updated soon along with the new players that have been waiting to join your group.
