[camp] Circus - Page 22

O.K. I don't think it is a good idea to open your purse in that tent so that this woman sees what you have for money. You guys seem to be captivated by this women. That worries me. If you want to get your fortune read, maybe you should both step outside. One of you take a coin and go back inside while the other waits outside. That way, if something happens to truly captivate or put under a spell the one in the tent with the woman, perhaps the other can rush in and remove him before it is too late.

tenaheff, That sounds alot better to me. I don't have any money but it may be better for Wimplo to just hand me a GP so that he doesent go in with alot of money. That is my suggestion.

So. We are blocked at every turn. Suggestions? What would Althea and Eissa do for a couple of hours waiting for the show to end? Join up with Wimplo and Shade and try to defend them from the Palm Reader? That seems to be the only action at the moment.

It doesn't say that the "lads" entered the tent yet. so maybe there is still chance to get them away from her.

No i dont think we need saving. I just think she is going to steal my money while we are captivated. I think we should either pay her and check out the cool stuff she does, or push her off and check our purses. Its possible she took somthing. Oink!

Either way is fine with me, though Ide rather just push her off an be done with it. But will our characters have enough will power to do so? I don't know...

Tena, I think the Magician or something else is hidden in the larger tent, that's why they are pushing us away from it. Maybe somehow one of us can distract the guys at the front of the tent while the other sneak out inside and see what's going. What do you think?.

Hmm, the pickings don't look quite as good as I had hopped.

*Sits instead in a crowded section, where the tight fit will make pocket picking less noticeable, turns to a nearby person*

First, even if the woman is just trying to steal your money (alot of which is mine), you need to do your best to prevent that. So, I think you should both step outside for a moment. Then do as Shadow suggested. Wimplo give Shade a coin and have Shade go back in the tent to have his fortune read. Shade is the better choice for having the reading done -- higher mind points and plus a thief to boot. Wimplo should wait outside.

Second, as far as Ice and Ariadne. Ice whispers to Ariadne: "We should not be so easily discouraged. I think I have an idea that might work. Let's hook up with Althea and Eissa and we can tell them of it. Here is the plan. You and I will stage a rather loud argument with pushing and shoving of each other. While the workers are distracted, Althea and Eissa can sneak into the tent and see what is in it. They are theives so they ought to be able to get in unnoticed if we cause a distraction. You could maybe make fun of me for wearing my armor, etc., to the circus for example." :-)
