In order to move things along, I will answer this. From reading and calculating based on past posts, Wimplo was holding 55 gp for Ice. It looks from party stats like he also had 11 of his own. So that means Ice will take 60 GP - the 55 she is owed and 5 from Wimplo's personal stash. Ariadne will take the remaining 6 GP.

**Ariadne will vomit on the guard's boots to make them let her out.
**Ice will force her way out with Ariadne.
** Airmed will try to maintain her sensibilities and pay attention to what's happening on the stage.
**Eissa seems to have succumbed to the smoke.
**Thorian will volunteer for the box
**Shade will wait and watch.
**Althea will wait and watch, and will try to help Eissa and Shade if they are overcome by the smoke, if she can.

Ariadne looks at the guards smiling and she smiles back but soon she gets serious as she wants to let them know she is feeling sick, she touches her tummy as it is hurting her. The gas has not reach her as yet so she knows she has to act quick...as she approaches the guards, she starts making body movements as she is feeling sick and wants to vomit....She covers her nose and mouth and looking at the guards she points with one of her fingers, the outside part of the tent as she letting them know she needs to get out of there. She feels that maybe they will not let her go just so, so she turns her body quickly without the guards notice it, put one of his fingers on his throat to induce the vomit, turns her body again and vomit in the guard's boots!!!! She knows they will get so mad, they will put her out right away"

Ice speaks up after Ariadne throws up and says: "Can't you see my friend is sick. You need to let us pass, I believe she may have the grippe since some of our comrades died from it recently. Unless of course, you are not afraid of the grippe" **Ice says this as she puts her arms around Ariadne's shoulders and pushes her way towards the exit. Ice has no intention of stopping. She will continue to move until she is somehow forcibly stopped.**

Airmed, having been "under the influence" of various substances before, notices the sweetness of the blue smoke's aroma, and begins to feel slightly light-headed. She quickly triple-folds the edge of her cloak and returns it securely over her nose and mouth, praying that no further effects shall be experienced. A little light-headedness she could handle, and the sense of mild relaxation might not be such an unwelcome thing. But she came here for a specific purpose: to try to ascertain the true nature of the intent of this spectacle. She silently chides herself for underestimating the degree of trickery to which this audience was vulnerable. Determined to learn any new information, she re-focuses her attention to the performance.

Eissa was starting to feel somewhat happy. She wasn't sure exactly why, just that... must have been the smoke. Or was it? Rather muddle-headedly (her normal frame of mind) and quite accidentally sneezing, she took a few deep breaths to calm herself down. Quite in the habit of sneezing at inappropriate moments, she knew that she had to calm... down. Yes. That was it.

Down there on the stage there were some few ladies (was one of them the lady in the tent? What tent?) bringing a box on stage. Eissa looked everywhere but at them, not scanning the crowd but rather letting her eyes drift from face to face. What now, she thought. Volunteering, just like when we were kids. Who wants... who wants to play?

*Seeing the smoke having it's affect on those around him, Thorian wraps his cloak around his mouth and nose, and starts deftly emptying the pockets of those around him. However he is distracted when several beautiful young women walk onto the stage with a large box. When they call for a volunteer Thorian raises his hand. This will give him the opportunity to distance himself from those whose pockets he has so recently ravaged, and anything involving attractive young women is good in his book*

Althea tries to maintain her senses and not breathe too deeply. Having a corner of her cloak around her nose and mouth she breaths shallowly and watches the events unfold. She keeps one hand gently on Eissa's arm to keep her from standing up to volunteer"¦ or wander away. Althea shakes her head and hopes she can help Shade and Eissa if they are overcome by the smoke.

So you are saying he is going to do this first before going on stage? To how many people will he try this - those to his left and right?

Here is Thorian's reply:

Probably he would try a maximum of about five people, starting with those sitting immediately in front of him. I imagine it kind of like this:

Where the o's represent people, the T is Thorian, and the X's are the people who he will try to pickpocket. And yes, he attempts it before going up on stage.

**Ice and Ariadne will stay close to the show tent to try to see what is going on. Ariadne will still feign sickness.
**Eissa, Althea, and Shade will watch and wait to see if they can help Thorian in any way. If he's taken by the circus workers, they will try to determine where and see if they can get him out.
**Airmed will scream to try to create a little diversion for Thorian.
**Thorian will try to change the attention from himself to the show participants.

Eissa jerked to attention. For some reason, the people in the circus appeared to be shouting. There appeared to be a slight disturbance a few rows below her. What had happened? She glanced around, startled, the blue smoke having lost its effect upon her. Surely she hadn't done anything wrong, had she? Out of instinct, she started blushing before realising that it wasn't her who had caused this. Wondering what to do, she turned to Althea. "Just what happened?" she asked.

Althea sees and hears the hullabaloo down front and sees Thorian in the midst of it all. [i]What now?[\i] she thinks to herself. Answering Eissa's question, she quietly speaks to both Shade and Eissa. "Seems our friend Thorian has got himself in a bit of a pickle. Watch and wait. If we can help him, we will. If not, we'll try to get him out from where ever they take him."

Airmed, still covering her nose and mouth, turns around to investigate the uproar. Thorian! It figures... She was afraid this lad would make such a gross error. He needed a diversion, and he needed it quickly. Airmed remains seated, takes a deep breath from behind her folded cloak, lowers it momentarily, and issues a mighty, blood-curdling scream! She is quick to replace the cloak across her face, hoping both to not be readily recognized as the screamer, and to hopefully afford Thorian a window of opportunity for escape. Any other contact with her party will have to wait until after safely outside the circus grounds. She watches the scene with Thorian, praying to the Gods and Goddesses for mercy.


Thorian turns his pockets inside out, in an attempt to make it appear that he too had been robbed "My gold is gone too! What's going on here!? What sort of witchcraft is this?" Thorian points and yells toward the stage.

"What sort of trickery is going on? First that smoke makes me feel all light headed, next my gold is gone!"

I need some clarification. Are Ice and Ariadne in the same cage as everyone else even though they were not in the tent at the time the events took place?

Since Ice and Ariadne were not in tent during the missing gold was discovered, does that mean they still have their gold?

All of you are in Animal cages, for the sake of simplicity I purposely said that the party was placed together in one cage. You obeyed instructions when faced against the circus animals (tiger, bear, etc.) and the Circus workers which out number you 3 to 1. Everyone still has their items, those missing gold are the Villagers.
