Yes, I remember the shuttle. I can imagine everytime an astronaut leaves the family must be feel so nervous! sad.gif I personally could not handle it although if NASA offers me a place to go to Mars, I may go for it....yep...crazy as it sounds.

Space Rocket Amateur First

Yes, it's risky, but so was sailing in the beginning -- maybe still is! However, technology will continue to improve, and the only way to do that is to continue building, testing, flying. I feel very grateful to our astronaut pioneers, some for giving their lives for the privilege of having manned space flight.

First Amateur Rocket In Space UFO & Writing Art Education Sciences

I was so excited when this rocket made its second successful flight into space. They are paving the way for personal space craft and space travel! Because of pioneers like this, one day I believe that space travel will be common and people will own their own personal space craft. In fact, I already have a name for mine picked out. And no, I'm not going to tell you! laugh.gif
