Al Jazeera signal jammed in Mideast, Libya suspected:
Al Jazeera's signal across the Middle East and North Africa was plagued by jamming on Sunday, the Arab satellite broadcaster said, and Lebanon said the electronic interference was coming from Libya.Libyan troops have opened fire with machine-guns and large-calibre weapons on anti-government protesters in the second city Benghazi, witnesses say. Hillary Clinton pimps Al Jazeera over American news
Hillary Clinton has produced some pretty outrageous sounds bites over the years, but she outdid herself recently when she declared that America is losing to Al Jazeera because they are up in the ratings and we can't compete with 'real' news like them. Her solution? Have a stronger government TV news operation - just like they do in China and Russia. How many times has that thought crossed your mind: 'if only we had a media more like China - THEN we'd be set'. Ref. Source 6

Andrea Mitchell's fav news source: Al Jazeera
There's a bizarre trend happening in the media and the White House: Al Jazeera is suddenly the most beloved television news channel. Forget MSNBC, Fox News, CNN - Al Jazeera is being touted above all others. Hillary Clinton slammed American news when she referred to Al Jazeera as 'real news' and top anchors are lining up to sing the praises of Al Qaeda's favorite TV channel. Why is ALJTV suddenly all the rage? Ref. Source 9
Al Jazeera: Bin Laden death a 'murder'
Hillary Clinton, MSNBC hosts and many other liberal elite have been heaping praise on Al Jazeera in recent weeks. Al Jazeera's response to the news of Bin Laden's death, "Fomenting nationalism with murder," almost makes it seem like they don't like America (shocker!). Clinton has openly pined for our media to resemble Al Jazeera - is this the kind of anti-American drivel we can look forward to in the years to come from our press? Probably. "Al Jazeera is not welcome in Texas"
Glenn recounts the story of an Al Jazeera reporter who is touring the country in search of stories for the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Al Jazeera, the network known for its anti-American slant and suspiciously easy access to the latest terrorist videotapes (and for being a Hillary Clinton fave), should expect a relatively icy reception in America and especially in Texas.
